This piece uses large 2" high LCD displays that I programmed to deconstruct the basic number format in various ways.  In combination the 8 displays convey an impression that this is an old, broken, digital artifact with their hyper kinetic but meaningless activity.  The background is distressed black acrylic, reminiscent of old chalkboards.
